The following schedule of fees is imposed for courses offered by and use of the Academy of Fire Science.

(a)For fire-related courses and seminars regularly scheduled by OFPC:
(1)New York State resident registration

$25 per course or seminar;

(2)out-of-state resident registration

$50 per course or seminar;

(3)meals and lodging as provided in subdivision (d) of this section.
(b)For courses and seminars presented to other State agencies and to private sector groups:
(1)New York State resident registration

$60 per course or seminar;

(2)out-of-state resident registration

$100 per course or seminar;

(3)meals and lodging as provided in subdivision (d) of this section.
(c)For use of Academy facilities only:
(1)fire service-related groups-no charge.
(2)
(i)Other groups (per room-per day):
(a)classroom-$100 (maximum occupancy 30 persons);
(b)conference room-$100 (maximum occupancy 32 persons);
(c)auditorium-$200 (maximum occupancy 220 persons);
(d)burn building (no fire)-$150 (per day);
(e)burn building (with fire)-$500 per room (per day);
(f)sprinkler lab-$200 (per day).
(ii)Where in connection with such use registration of individuals is handled through the academy, a charge of $10 per registrant is imposed.
(iii)Where in connection with such use registration of individuals is handled by the utilizing group, a charge of $5 per registrant is imposed.
(iv)Where in connection with such use, meals and lodging are desired, the rates in subdivision (d) of this section shall apply.
(d)For meals and lodging (for all Academy attendees):
(1)meals and lodging for course registrants

$40 per day;

(2)meals purchased separately:
(i)breakfast

$4;

(ii)lunch

$4;

(iii)dinner

$9.

(e)For canine accelerant detection training programs (initial certification):
(1)New York State resident registration

$25 per course;

(2)out-of-state resident registration

$50 per course;

(3)meals and lodging as provided in subdivision (d) of this section;
(4)canine/handler training and materials cost, including canine examination, shots,

etc.

$750;

(5)canine accelerant detection recertification

$100.

(f)Basic fire training course for municipal fire departments (six-week training course):
(1)New York State resident registration

$100 per course;

(2)out-of-state resident registration

$200 per course;

(3)meals and lodging as provided in subdivision (d) of this section.
