In this Part, the terms 2020 PMCNYS and existing building shall have the meanings ascribed to those terms in section 1219.2 of this Title.

All existing buildings and all premises, and the occupancy and operation of all existing buildings and all premises, shall comply with the provisions and requirements of the 2020 PMCNYS.

Such standards are available for public inspection and copying at the Office of the New York State Department of State specified in subdivision (b) of this section.

For the purposes of applying the 2020 PMCNYS in this State, the 2020 PMCNYS shall be deemed to be amended in the manner specified in this section.
Section 404 of the 2020 PMCNYS shall be deemed to be amended to add the following Section 404.9 to read as follows: 404.9 Tiny Houses. The provisions of Section 404 shall not apply to tiny houses constructed in accordance with the Residential Code of New York State and Appendix Q of the Residential Code of New York State.
